The band UPSCAPE has caught attention with their latest release, a collaboration with Lee Ja-heon, known as the 10th contestant on JTBC's survival show 'Sing Again 4'.
On the 23rd, UPSCAPE unveiled their new track 'Bad Choice', which delves into the human psyche and the tendency to repeat the same mistakes.
'Bad Choice' combines intense rock sounds with a heavy message, capturing the emotions and inner conflicts of making the wrong choice despite knowing what's right. The song blends the energy of classic rock with modern sounds, adding a dramatic progression.
Producer and composer Won Sang-woo, who worked on the track, emphasized the song's appeal by reinterpreting the spirit of classic rock in a contemporary way. He described the new song as a narrative about human weakness and desire, stating, “Everyone has moments in life where they make a choice they know is wrong.”
UPSCAPE is a project-based rock band that invites different guest vocalists for each track, showcasing a variety of rock sounds through vocals that match each song. The band is composed of professional session musicians (Won Sang-woo, Lee Ji-sung, Lee Hye-won, Kim Jin-hee, Min Kyung-hwan, and Lee Dong-soo) with extensive live performance and recording experience, focusing on delivering high-quality sound.
Meanwhile, UPSCAPE's new song 'Bad Choice' is available on various music streaming platforms.
