Jeong Yi-rang's surprising background and hilarious family stories were revealed on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup'.
On the 23rd, comedians Kim Jun-ho, Kim Ji-min, and actress Jeong Yi-rang appeared on the channel, sharing candid and humorous anecdotes.
Jeong Yi-rang openly discussed her daily life with her husband, adding to the lively atmosphere. Kim Ji-min humorously revealed, "There's a rumor that her husband is a reenactor and all her kids are reenactment actors," to which Jeong Yi-rang wittily responded, "If I come home late, my kids say I owe them overtime pay," eliciting laughter.
Particularly, the couple's unique episodes caught attention. Kim Jun-ho expressed curiosity, saying, "I heard that when Jeong Yi-rang was working, her husband waited for her at a motel."
Jeong Yi-rang corrected him, saying, "Please say hotel. Calling it a motel is too embarrassing," causing laughter. She also mentioned her compatibility with her husband, saying, "Even when I was working, he was waiting for me," showing her affection.
When Jeong Yi-rang felt embarrassed by the adult-themed talk, Kim Ji-min remarked, "When you weren't famous, you shared these stories on broadcasts, but now you've changed." Jeong Yi-rang shared, "Now my husband tells me not to. He says, 'Does Jun Ji-hyun talk about compatibility and such things? To me, you're Jun Ji-hyun,'" showcasing her husband's loving nature.
Jeong Yi-rang's surprising background was also revealed. She is known to have attended Nonhyeon Elementary School and Apgujeong Middle School, making her a product of the prestigious Gangnam 8th School District. Shin Dong-yup commented, "I thought she was from an island, but she's from Apgujeong," to which Jeong Yi-rang expressed her frustration, "Why can't I be from Apgujeong?"
Jeong Yi-rang is an MBC public comedian who gained recognition through SNL. Shin Dong-yup admitted, "I first saw her on SNL and thought she was a theater actress because she acted so well," to which Jeong Yi-rang playfully responded, "You really didn't know?"
In fact, she is known to hold a theater teaching certificate. Regarding this, Jeong Yi-rang explained, "I was also an acting teacher," and Shin Dong-yup clarified, "She acted so well that I didn't realize it was the same person."
Meanwhile, Jeong Yi-rang married Kim Hyung-geun in 2011 and they have a son and a daughter.
