ITZY's Yuna has expressed her gratitude for being recognized as one of the top visual icons among 4th generation girl groups, known as 'JangKaSeolYu'.
On the 23rd, Yuna held a press conference at the Pullman Ambassador Seoul East Pole in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of her solo debut album 'Ice Cream'.
Yuna has been named among the top visuals in K-pop, referred to as 'JangKaSeolYu' (IVE's Jang Wonyoung, aespa's Karina, NMIXX's Sullyoon, and ITZY's Yuna). Regarding this, Yuna said, "I'm really grateful to be called a K-pop visual icon."
With this solo album, Yuna aims to showcase not only her outstanding visuals but also her talent. She expressed, "I hope the public sees me as a capable solo artist based on this performance. I want to show them," with a sparkle in her eyes.
The title track 'Ice Cream' is a bubblegum pop song that is vibrant and addictive, delivering a positive message of "Let's enjoy this sweet moment like ice cream without missing it."
The new album includes a total of four tracks: the title track 'Ice Cream', 'B-Boy' which captures a free-spirited mood, 'Blue Maze' which deeply portrays a soft and dreamy moment of love, and 'Hyper Dream' which invites listeners to jump into a world of dreams with dramatic and glamorous sound layering.
Yuna's solo mini-album 'Ice Cream' will be released at 6 PM today.
