Recently, BTS leader RM took to Instagram to share the news with a post captioned "ARIRANG out now," accompanied by a photo.
In the image, BTS members are seen standing in a line on a wooden deck, engaging in what appears to be a natural conversation. The backdrop features a mast and intricately woven nets, with a cityscape and a faint rainbow adding to the scene's allure.
The members are dressed in beret-style hats, light-toned shirts, and black pants, each wearing white gloves. Despite maintaining a coordinated style, they each display subtly different expressions while casting long shadows on the glossy floor, creating a cinematic and serene atmosphere.
Prior to the comeback, RM shared news of an injury a day before their live performance. BigHit Music, BTS's agency, announced, "RM sustained an ankle injury during rehearsal on the 19th and was taken to the hospital for a detailed examination." The diagnosis revealed a 'navicular bone sprain and partial ligament tear with talus contusion,' requiring RM to minimize movement for at least two weeks while focusing on recovery.
As a result, RM performed seated during the live show, unable to participate in the dance routines. Despite being excluded from the choreography, he made efforts to stand and engage with fans, known as ARMY.
Meanwhile, BTS released their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' at 1 PM on the 20th. This marks their first new release in 3 years and 9 months since June 2022. The album, executive produced by Bang Si-hyuk, features 14 tracks, including the title song 'SWIM'. The album encapsulates the group's genuine experiences and reflections from their journey. BTS is set to embark on a world tour, starting at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium next month, covering 34 cities with 82 shows.
