On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband Season 2', aired on the 21st, viewers got a glimpse into the daily life of Hwanhee and his mother. Hwanhee revealed that he rarely communicated with his mother, stating, "She often doesn't reply to family messages and leaves concerts without seeing me."
He added, "We've never traveled together or taken photos. She refuses to go anywhere, and I don't know why."

She confessed, "I avoid eating with him to not show any strange behavior," recalling an incident where Hwanhee commented on a grain of rice stuck to her. Knowing her son's sensitivity, she decided to stop sharing meals with him.
Hwanhee was surprised, saying, "I had no idea until I saw the video." He realized the 'distance' he felt was not due to her being aloof.
“Never Been to Jeju Island”... A Life Hidden for Her Son
Her story didn't end there. She revealed, "I've never been to Jeju Island and don't have a passport," adding, "My children don't know how I've lived." She continued, "I went into debt to provide for my sons."
Currently, she receives living expenses from Hwanhee. She said, "Whenever he sends money, I always say 'sorry, thank you.'" Hwanhee reassures her, "Don't feel sorry. It's what a son should do."
Hwanhee, moved to tears, remarked, "I must seem like an ungrateful son," and added, "I've never seen her speak so openly before watching the video."
