Korean actors Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young recently visited a luxurious mansion valued at approximately $370 million, leaving them in awe.
On October 21, the YouTube channel 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young' released a video titled 'Son Tae-young & Kwon Sang-woo Visit a $370 Million American Tycoon Mansion with Two Pools'.
In the video, Son Tae-young shared, "Today, we're going to look at a real estate property. We're not planning to move immediately, but we heard about a beautiful house and decided to check it out." She added, "These days, properties are scarce, and they sell quickly once listed. Sometimes, people even write letters to the homeowners asking them to sell the house."
The couple visited a grand mansion owned by the family of Elie Tahari, a high-end fashion brand founder. The property spans approximately 2,400 pyeong (about 79,200 square feet) and is a three-story luxury estate valued at around $369 million. The exterior, reminiscent of a fairy tale, prompted Kwon Sang-woo to comment, "It looks like the house from Hansel and Gretel."
What Was Inside the 'Hansel and Gretel' Mansion?
Inside, the mansion featured marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and handcrafted interiors, with each space having a unique concept. Son Tae-young remarked, "You can tell that each part of the house was built with care. Just touring it is a feast for the eyes."
Notably, the mansion boasts two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, which caught their attention. Kwon Sang-woo expressed his amazement, saying, "With this, I wouldn't want to leave the house," while Son Tae-young described it as "a work of art."
The mansion also includes amenities like a basement sauna and an elevator. The seemingly endless space led Son Tae-young to joke, "Someone could be living here without us knowing."
Why Did Kwon Sang-woo Compare It to 'The Godfather'?
While exploring the second-floor bedroom and dressing room, Kwon Sang-woo quipped, "It feels like the house from 'The Godfather'. With a place like this, you wouldn't notice if your son sneaked in a girlfriend."
After an hour-long tour, the couple concluded, "This isn't just a house; it's a piece of art." Kwon Sang-woo added, "It smells like a nice hotel, which lifts your spirits. It would be great to have wine here at night with the lights on." Son Tae-young agreed, "Just seeing such a beautiful house is satisfying."
Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young married in 2008 and have a son and a daughter. They currently reside in New Jersey.
