YouTuber Kim Sun-tae's Bold Interview with Woori Bank CEO Goes Viral

Kim Sun-tae, a YouTuber with 1.5 million subscribers, made headlines by directly asking the CEO of Woori Bank, "How much is your asset?" in a daring interview.

On the 20th, Kim Sun-tae released his first sponsored video featuring Woori Bank on his YouTube channel. In the video, Kim visits the Woori Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, and transforms into a one-day bank employee, conducting his signature bold interviews.

During the video, Kim candidly shared his 'investment failure story,' capturing viewers' attention. Visiting the exclusive counter for high-net-worth individuals, Kim confessed, "I used to be a major shareholder of Samsung Electronics but sold all my shares at 60,000 won." When the staff informed him that the current stock price is 183,000 won, Kim's stunned expression elicited laughter from the scene.

Upon hearing about Kim's stock investment failure, an employee advised, "To avoid the risk of picking a single stock, consider indirect investment products." Kim humorously responded, "Are you talking about something like ETFs? I own an ETF that triples Tesla," causing more laughter.

Notably, Kim also met with Woori Bank CEO Jeong Jin-wan. His first question, "How much do you have in deposit assets?" surprised everyone. Caught off guard, CEO Jeong blushed and began to answer, "Deposits..."

According to industry sources, Kim's channel received collaboration offers from hundreds of companies shortly after its launch, and a leaked document once revealed that his advertising rate reached up to 100 million won, creating a buzz.

Meanwhile, Kim Sun-tae, a former level 9 civil servant who successfully ran the Chungju City YouTube channel, transitioned to a full-time YouTuber after resigning last month. He achieved 1 million subscribers within three days of launching his channel, and the number has now surpassed 1.5 million.
