KBS 2TV's new mini-series 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is set to premiere on Thursday, March 26, at 9:50 PM. The show has released a comprehensive preview video today, March 19, marking the one-week countdown to its first broadcast.

'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is a heartwarming family reboot drama that follows the chaotic adventures of the city family, Seong Tae-hoon (played by Park Sung-woong), as they struggle to return to Seoul after being abruptly relocated to the pristine yet fierce area of 'Yeonliri.' The released video opens with the village chief, Im Joo-hyung (played by Lee Seo-hwan), warmly welcoming the Seong family to the rural Yeonliri with a playful greeting. His heart-shaped gesture and the line, "Welcome to Yeonliri, a crime-free village," are sure to bring laughter to viewers.

The city family, consisting of Seong Tae-hoon, Jo Mi-ryeo (played by Lee Soo-kyung), Seong Ji-cheon (played by Lee Jin-woo), Seong Ji-sang (played by Seo Yoon-hyuk), and Seong Ji-goo (played by Yang Woo-hyuk), attracts the attention of Yeonliri residents simply because they are from Seoul. Seong Tae-hoon announces his ambitious goal of developing cabbages, drawing even more attention from the community.

Village elder Im Joo-hyung sees Seong Tae-hoon's cabbage farming as a thorn in his side, leading to frequent clashes between the two. Meanwhile, Seong Tae-hoon's wife, Jo Mi-ryeo, faces subtle territorial challenges from the women's association leader, Nam Hye-seon (played by Nam Kwon-ah), adding to the family's struggles to adapt to life in Yeonliri.

Seong Tae-hoon is tasked with the crucial mission of succeeding in cabbage farming to return to Seoul. Despite Im Joo-hyung's interference, he remains determined for the sake of his family, vowing to "make do with what he has." With no prior farming knowledge or experience, Seong Tae-hoon continues his rural life. Will the Seong family manage to integrate into 'Yeonliri'? The unpredictable survival story of their forced rural life piques curiosity.

The eldest son, Seong Ji-cheon, begins to change in the unfamiliar environment after meeting Im Bo-mi (played by Choi Gyu-ri), the only daughter of the village chief couple. Their growing attraction adds a touch of romance and anticipation for the upcoming episodes, promising harmless laughter and heart-fluttering moments.

'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is directed by Choi Yeon-soo, known for co-directing '24-Hour Fitness Club,' 'Crazy Love,' and 'The Ballot.' The drama is co-written by Song Jeong-rim, who penned 'Let's Get Married, Frog!' and 'Bride of the Typhoon,' and Wang Hye-ji, known for 'Romance Without Love.'
