'I Am Solo' Sparks Debate: Seoul National University Law School Graduate's Math Skills Questioned
The latest episode of 'I Am Solo' has stirred up a buzz as Young-ja, a participant from the 30th season, made a controversial remark questioning the math skills of Young-sik, a Seoul National University Law School graduate.

The YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment TV', operated by ENA and SBS PLUS's 'I Am Solo', recently uploaded a video titled '※Unreleased Footage※ 30th_4th Day: The Unedited Date of Young-ja and Young-sik'.

In the video, Young-sik, a real estate attorney, and Young-ja, an architectural engineer, are seen enjoying a stroll in the park, sharing their thoughts on the scenery and daily life.

The incident began when Young-sik mentioned the pigeonhole principle, a mathematical theory, upon spotting a birdhouse. Young-ja responded by accusing him of pretending to know math, questioning, "Aren't you from the liberal arts track? Didn't you skip calculus?" This led to Young-sik defending his math skills, explaining, "I was actually good at it. It's frustrating," and detailing how he had to learn calculus during his college entrance exam preparation.

Despite Young-sik's explanation, Young-ja provocatively remarked, "Then you must have gotten it all wrong," and added, "What can you expect from someone in the liberal arts track?" This unexpected reaction left Young-sik flustered, prompting him to say, "I'm so frustrated, I might as well study math and retake the college entrance exam." When Young-ja jokingly suggested he take math lessons from another participant, Young-chul, Young-sik humorously replied, "I should get tutoring just for math. This is so frustrating," eliciting laughter from the scene.

Earlier in the date, the two shared a light-hearted conversation reflecting their professional backgrounds. When Young-sik commented that the apartment complex across the street looked like a promotional brochure, Young-ja, showing her occupational habits, replied, "I see those a lot, but it's a bit blurry, and the sky should be blue," adding to the amusement.
