How Did Seo In-guk Approach His Dual Roles in 'Monthly Boyfriend'?
In an interview following the photoshoot, Seo In-guk discussed his dual roles as Goo Young-il and Park Kyung-nam in 'Monthly Boyfriend.' He explained, "When playing dual roles, viewers instinctively look for differences. The script didn't specify hair color, so I decided to dye it red. I also used a lower, breathy tone for Kyung-nam and a higher tone for Young-il to distinguish between the two characters."
Why Does Seo In-guk Avoid Conflict?
When asked how he defines being 'Seo In-guk-like,' he said, "Being flexible allows me to be straightforward, and I feel proud of myself at those times. In work and life, there are moments of emotional clashes and differing opinions, but I don't want to fight. I don't insist on my opinions. Knowing there's no absolute answer in the world, I prefer to move on flexibly. It's not about conceding but smiling through unnecessary stubbornness, and I like that about myself."
How Was Seo In-guk's Chemistry with Jisoo?
In 'Monthly Boyfriend,' Seo In-guk played the dual roles of Park Kyung-nam, a professional webtoon PD, and Goo Young-il, the ideal boyfriend in a virtual world for Mirae (played by Jisoo).
