She stated, "To break away from my healthy image, I intentionally altered my physique." She explained that she engaged in intense workouts and weight training to reduce muscle size, combined with stretching to create a long and lean appearance.

When Sung Si-kyung mentioned the positive feedback about her recent appearance, Ha Ji-won responded, "It's nice to hear compliments about my looks as I age." She revealed her secret to maintaining her figure, saying, "I consistently practice stretching exercises like yoga."
