On the 18th, Kang shared two photos on her social media with the caption, "A Thrilling Day."
In the photos, Kang is seen standing with her two sons in front of their school, smiling as they head off to start the new semester with fresh enthusiasm.
Born in 1976, Kang Sung-yeon debuted as an actress in 1996 through MBC's 25th open recruitment. She has appeared in numerous dramas including 'Three Guys and Three Girls,' 'Country Diaries,' 'Star in My Heart,' 'To the End of the World,' 'My Love By My Side,' 'KAIST,' 'Deok-yi,' 'Let's Get Married,' 'The Wife Returns,' 'My Daughter, the Prettiest in the World,' and 'The Chaebol Detective.'
Kang married jazz pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012, but the couple divorced in 2022. She has two sons, born in 2015 and 2016.
