According to a media report on the 18th, Shin Ki-ru's mother, Lim Young-mi, passed away on the evening of the 17th due to deteriorating health. She was 68 years old.

The funeral is being held at the VIP Room 1 of Shillakwon Incheon Funeral Home, with the service scheduled for 6:30 AM on the 20th. The burial will initially take place at Incheon Family Park, followed by a transfer to Incheon Municipal Cemetery.
Shin Ki-ru, born in 1981, is 44 years old. She debuted in 2005 on KBS2's 'Gag Concert' and was later selected as a special comedian by SBS in 2007. In 2019, she married a non-celebrity who is one year older than her, and they have no children.
