Actor Jin Tae-hyun Addresses IVF Suggestions, Focuses on Love with Wife Park Si-eun

Actor Jin Tae-hyun has drawn a line regarding suggestions for IVF treatments.

On the 18th, Jin Tae-hyun shared an update about his date with his wife, Park Si-eun, stating, "Many fans still send DMs advising us not to give up on having a child, sharing information about hospitals and procedures."

He continued, "We haven't given up; we've decided to focus on our love for each other. If we had chosen medical assistance, we would have done it long ago." He added, "I love my wife more than the idea of having children, and I have no intention of putting her through physical or mental strain. Please refrain from sending related DMs."

Jin Tae-hyun shared, "Our journey hasn't been smooth. We've faced unspeakable wounds, my wife's pain, and my surgery, among other challenges. Yet, we live with the belief that hardships are blessings."

He also mentioned, "We have children we hold in our hearts," and urged, "Even if we make different choices, please support us with warmth."

Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun announced in January that they were halting plans for a second child. After experiencing three miscarriages and Jin Tae-hyun's thyroid cancer surgery, the couple decided to focus on each other and their family rather than pursuing another pregnancy. At the time, they stated, "Being healthy and together is the greatest blessing," and expressed their intention to focus more on loving each other.

Below is Jin Tae-hyun's full statement:

Hello, I hope you are well.

A few days ago, my wife and I went for a drive to Wonju.

The spring breeze felt wonderful.

My wife and I always love, cherish, and respect each other.

We are grateful, considerate, and prioritize each other.

Many fans still advise us not to give up on having a child,

sending DMs with information about good hospitals and procedures. However, we haven't given up; we've decided to focus solely on our love. If we had wanted to rely on medical assistance, we would have done so long ago. I love my wife more than the idea of having children, and I have no intention of putting her through physical or mental strain. So please stop sending your loving DMs.

Our journey hasn't been smooth.

We've faced unspeakable wounds, my wife's pain, and my surgery.

Not everything has been good.

Yet, we live with the belief that hardships are blessings.

We will continue the fellowship at the table as God has spoken, with those who call us mom and dad.

Though I can't say everything, we have children we hold in our hearts. Please don't criticize us for taking a different path and support us warmly.
