BTS to Make a Grand Comeback at Gwanghwamun Square with Red-Themed Stage
HYBE has officially addressed the red stage setup for BTS's upcoming comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st.

On the 18th, HYBE stated, "The red color for the Gwanghwamun Square performance is inspired by the key color of the Arirang album," adding, "The city of Seoul is also utilizing red at HYBE's request." They emphasized, "We urge you not to interpret this cultural event from an overly political perspective."

BTS is set to perform as a complete group at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st, with an expected turnout of over 200,000 people. Fans from around the world, known as ARMY, are gathering in Seoul to witness the event.

However, the choice of red as the theme color, including its use on Seoul's landmarks, has sparked concerns among some that BTS might be linked to political implications. There are opinions suggesting that the color should have been purple, which symbolizes BTS and their fanbase, ARMY.
