KBS 2TV's new weekend mini-series 'Another Love' has confirmed the casting of Lee Joo-an and Jo Ah-ram, following Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin.
Directed by Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram, and written by Yoo Soo-ji, 'Another Love' is a realistic melodrama that explores the emotions of a couple who have been together for 10 years. The series delves into the story of a long-term couple who face unfamiliar emotions, filling the void left by fading passion with loyalty and trust, while navigating the crossroads between breakup and marriage.
Previously, the announcement of Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin playing a decade-long couple garnered significant attention. Joining them are Lee Joo-an and Jo Ah-ram, who will portray characters that bring a new sense of excitement to the seasoned couple. The title 'Another Love' hints at the enriched romantic lineup that is sure to captivate viewers.
Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin, already a hot topic among prospective viewers, will portray Nam Goong-ho, a deputy manager at Hunmin Confectionery's TF team, and Lee Mi-do, a film director facing the harsh realities of life. The couple, who know each other better than their own parents and share a deeper bond than friends, will confront unexpected emotions that disrupt their familiar routine.
Lee Joo-an will play Han Tae-seung, a lawyer at Jaegang Law Firm, who brings unexpected changes to Lee Mi-do's life. Initially, he is a 'crazy' man who represents the film company that unilaterally fired Mi-do, but he becomes intrigued by her resilience. Known for his strong performances, particularly in last year's 'The Tyrant's Chef,' Lee Joo-an is expected to showcase new charms in this role.
Jo Ah-ram will portray Park Soo-ah, a junior colleague who subtly yet precisely shakes Nam Goong-ho. With a special past with Nam Goong-ho, Park Soo-ah's heart races upon reuniting with him at Hunmin Confectionery, causing ripples in his heart. Jo Ah-ram, known for her fresh performances in 'Thank You,' 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook,' and 'To the Moon,' is anticipated to make a quiet yet impactful impression on viewers.
The production team stated, "With the addition of Lee Joo-an and Jo Ah-ram, following Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin, we expect the series to convincingly and realistically portray the irresistible emotions everyone experiences at least once in their lives. The introduction of another 'you' into a familiar routine will be a key point of interest in the series. Despite the turmoil, the actors' realistic performances will breathe life into this melodrama about love and life."
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV's new weekend mini-series 'Another Love' is set to air in the second half of 2026 and will be available to global audiences via Amazon Prime Video.
