YouTuber Lallal Sparks Controversy with Drinking Video Amidst Celebrity Alcohol Scandals
Popular YouTuber Lallal recently showcased her drinking habits.

On the 16th, Lallal posted a video on her Instagram story with the caption "Eat and die." The video showed her shaking a bottle of makgeolli at a restaurant, with five glasses stacked, suggesting she was with company.

Later, Lallal met with fans who waited for her after work. When a fan expressed admiration, saying, "I respect you so much, Lallal," she shyly responded, "What is there to respect? We're all the same." She added, "I'm going to drink soju right away. I came out at 6 AM," indicating her exhaustion from a long schedule.

However, Lallal's comments have raised concerns, especially given the recent string of alcohol-related scandals in the entertainment industry. Earlier this month, actor Lee Jae-ryong was caught for his third DUI, sparking criticism that celebrity drinking content might glamorize or encourage drinking culture.

Meanwhile, Lallal, born in 1992, is 33 years old and boasts 1.97 million YouTube subscribers. In 2024, she married a non-celebrity 11 years her senior and welcomed a daughter in July of the same year. She currently shares her parenting journey on KBS2's variety show 'The Return of Superman.'
