On October 15, Shin Bong-sun took to her Instagram story to update her followers about her aunt, who has been transferred to a hospital in Masan. She wrote, "I took the KTX to Masan to see my aunt."
Shin expressed her sorrow, saying, "My aunt was lying there, looking frail and unfamiliar. Even in her confused state, she kept asking if I had eaten. I cried and cried because there was nothing I could do for her." Her words touched the hearts of many.
Earlier that night, Shin Bong-sun appeared on the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' where she was involved in a hidden camera prank about dating fellow comedian Yoo Min-sang, who is a year older than her, which garnered attention.
Shin Bong-sun, born in 1980, is 45 years old this year. She debuted as a comedian in 2005 through KBS's 20th open recruitment and is now in her 21st year in the industry.
