Kwon Eun-bi Suspected as 'Industrial Spy' on 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'

Kwon Eun-bi was humorously suspected of being an 'industrial spy' on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'.

On the episode aired on the 15th, Park Myung-soo and Kwon Eun-bi met with Chef Kim Song-gi, the executive chef at L Hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Park Myung-soo joked, "Idols are flooding in with love calls. GD, Jisoo, Go Yoon-jung, etc.," adding humorously, "Go Yoon-jung doesn't know she's part of the Park line yet."

Kwon Eun-bi appeared as the intern of the day. Park Myung-soo expressed envy, saying, "I heard you bought a building," to which Kwon Eun-bi replied, "Come visit. I'm running a dessert cafe," showcasing her role as a building owner and cafe manager.

Chef Kim Song-gi, with 45 years of culinary experience, revealed, "I manage 41 restaurants and bakeries across 9 hotels in Seoul, Jeju, Busan, Ulsan, etc., with 638 employees under me."

Having joined as the youngest chef at 22 and working his way up to executive chef over 45 years, Kim Song-gi was awarded the 11th Culinary Master in 2016 and participated in APEC last year. Chef Jung Ji-sun described him as "the top among chefs."

Regarding the popular strawberry buffet, Park Myung-soo commented, "Honestly, it's expensive at over 100,000 won." Kim Song-gi explained, "It's because we use the finest strawberries, not just because it's a hotel."

While introducing the strawberry buffet menu, Kim Song-gi highlighted a pistachio dessert, noting the price increase due to the popularity of 'Dubai Chewy Cookies'.

Kwon Eun-bi remarked, "Small business owners are struggling because of big corporations," to which Park Myung-soo retorted, "Why bring that up?" Kim Song-gi laughed, "She probably wanted to promote her cafe."

Chef Kim Song-gi shared, "I commute by subway to catch up on the latest SNS trends for menu development." When Park Myung-soo asked, "Doesn't the company provide a car?" Kim replied, "We have company cars, but I prefer public transport due to traffic congestion."

He candidly admitted, "I can't afford to move closer to the company. I'm quite envious of Kwon Eun-bi for buying a building." When Kwon Eun-bi revealed, "Park Myung-soo has a lot of personal assets," Kim humorously added, "What have I been doing all these years?"

In the dessert kitchen, Kwon Eun-bi volunteered to make a lychee raspberry mousse. Park Myung-soo jokingly warned, "Be careful. She might steal the technique," treating her as an 'industrial spy' and causing laughter.

Kwon Eun-bi showcased her expertise, saying, "I develop cafe menus myself," as she meticulously crafted the dessert. Chef Kim Song-gi was impressed, stating, "For a first-timer, she could be hired by a hotel."
