Huh Kyung-hwan has found himself in the midst of controversy following his permanent addition to the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo'.
On the episode aired on the 14th, the show featured a segment titled 'A Day with AI', with actor Kim Kwang-kyu joining the cast.
During the opening, Yoo Jae-suk announced Huh Kyung-hwan's permanent role on the show. As Huh expressed his gratitude to viewers with a deep bow, Yoo mentioned, "Many viewers have been asking why he wasn't made a member," and Haha added, "It's something the viewers created."
Huh Kyung-hwan commented, "It's been a long time. I'm really grateful for the good days over the past three months," but humorously added, "My mother asked if I paid 600,000 won to get in. It just happened by chance."
During his first official recording, Huh struggled to showcase his abilities, prompting members to note, "Even though you're a regular now, you seem uneasy." Huh responded, "I have a lot I want to do." Haha revealed, "Last week, we ate without Jae-suk, and he told me to trust myself now that I'm a regular."
The segment 'A Day with AI' featuring guest Kim Kwang-kyu began. As his daily routine was revealed, the AI humorously critiqued, "It's the day of a seasoned single man. He seems to combat loneliness with aimless wandering while caring for his health. He looks like a longevity dreamer with a diet akin to a nursing home."
When Yoo Jae-suk asked the AI about Kim Kwang-kyu's potential as a regular on 'Hangout with Yoo', the AI replied, "It's tough for Kim Kwang-kyu, who's like a baby at 60. The cast is full. It's better for him to appear as a guest." When asked about Huh Kyung-hwan's role, the AI quipped, "Why is he there? He should wipe the sweat off his philtrum." Huh humorously expressed his discomfort, saying, "Let me borrow the AI for five minutes. I need to have a word."
