Fate Reunites Cha Jong-hyeop and Lee Sung-kyung in a Heartfelt Episode of 'Your Glorious Season'
In a twist of fate, Cha Jong-hyeop and Lee Sung-kyung's characters reignite their suppressed feelings for each other, delivering a wave of excitement to viewers.

The sixth episode of MBC's 'Your Glorious Season' (directed by Jung Sang-hee, Kim Young-jae/written by Jo Sung-hee), aired on the night of the 13th at 9:50 PM, depicted the poignant story of Sun Woo-chan (played by Cha Jong-hyeop) who unexpectedly leaves for the U.S., and Song Ha-ran (played by Lee Sung-kyung) who realizes the true nature of her love in his absence.

In this episode, Sun Woo-chan, who had promised a sweet date with Song Ha-ran after finishing a business trip in Gyeongju, was hit with shocking news upon arriving in Seoul. An animation project he was working on faced sudden suspension, forcing him to return to the U.S. without a proper farewell. His abrupt departure left Song Ha-ran with an overwhelming sense of emptiness.

After Sun Woo-chan's departure, Song Ha-ran's life was filled with longing for him. She couldn't take her eyes off her phone, calculating the time difference with the U.S. and imagining his every move, suffering from severe lovesickness. Even seeing someone with a similar back on the street made her run impulsively, proving that her once cold heart was now beating passionately for Sun Woo-chan.

Unable to overcome her longing, Song Ha-ran eventually took leave and disappeared. She tried to clear her mind by crossing off items from the bucket list she had made with Sun Woo-chan, but the painful realization that who she was with mattered more than what she was doing hit her hard. Her grandmother, Kim Na-na (played by Lee Mi-sook), suggested a trip to the U.S., advising, "Life is too short to fill with regrets." Song Ha-ran, with tears in her eyes, admitted, "I was so mean at first, but if I knew he would leave so soon, I would have treated him better." Her confession that she never regretted knowing Sun Woo-chan touched the viewers' hearts.

However, fate did not abandon them. Sun Woo-chan miraculously appeared in front of Song Ha-ran at the restaurant they had promised to visit. Overwhelmed with emotion, Song Ha-ran embraced him tightly, offering a clumsy excuse, "I have a habit of hugging when I'm happy," but their eyes were already filled with deep affection. It was revealed that Sun Woo-chan had sent a message promising to return by the agreed date, but a failed transmission had temporarily kept them apart, adding to the relief.

The joy of reunion was short-lived as Song Ha-ran rushed to the airport to convey her true feelings to Sun Woo-chan once more. She shyly but firmly confessed, "I don't want to regret anymore. Can you help me? From now on, I'll openly treat you well." In response, Sun Woo-chan, embracing her tightly, declared, "I shouldn't like you this much, but I can't help wanting more," marking the beginning of their romance.
