Singer KCM finds himself in a predicament as he may have to return home shortly after arriving in Vietnam.
On KBS 2TV's 'Duet Across the Sea', KCM, who recently revealed he is a father of three, travels to Vietnam. Upon arrival, he meets with 'Promotion Fairy' Micky Kwang-soo and Jo Maeryuk, and they head to the landmark-filled 'Ho Chi Minh City'.
Having heard that Park Ki-young successfully gathered an audience of 300 in the Netherlands, KCM confidently mused, "500? 1000? 1500? 2000?" implying that 300 would be a breeze. His confidence soared even more when he encountered people recognizing him on the streets of Vietnam. He boldly declared, "If I can't gather 500 people, I'll really retire," staking his career on the mission.
However, that night, the production team called an emergency meeting. They announced, "The performance permit hasn't been granted locally. We don't know the reason yet, so we need to assess the situation. In the worst case, we might have to return home," delivering the disappointing news that the performance couldn't proceed. After a moment of silence, the three men expressed their sadness, and the night ended in silence.
'Duet Across the Sea' is a global music project co-produced by countries including the Netherlands, Vietnam, and Canada. It features collaborations between renowned K-POP stars and international artists, transcending borders and cultures through music.
The episode will air on Thursday, the 12th, at 9:50 PM on KBS 2TV.
