SHINee's Taemin Joins Galaxy Corporation, Set to Perform at Coachella 2024

Taemin, a member of the popular K-pop group SHINee and a successful solo artist, has signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, an AI entertainment tech company. Galaxy Corporation is home to other renowned artists such as G-Dragon, Kim Jong-kook, and actor Song Kang-ho.

On the 11th, Galaxy Corporation announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with artist Taemin. We will provide full support to ensure that Taemin's unique artistic talents synergize with our cutting-edge technology."

Galaxy Corporation is known for integrating AI and robotics with entertainment content, creating a unique 'enter-tech' business model. The company views Taemin's signing as a strategic move to enhance the value of their artists' intellectual property through digital technology.

With this move, Taemin joins the ranks of G-Dragon, Kim Jong-kook, and Song Kang-ho under the same agency.

Taemin debuted in 2008 with SHINee, releasing numerous hits like 'Replay,' 'Ring Ding Dong,' and 'View,' becoming a key figure in the K-pop wave. Since his solo debut in 2014, he has solidified his position as a solo artist with hits like 'Danger,' 'Move,' and 'Want,' showcasing his exceptional performance skills.

In August 2024, Taemin embarked on his first solo world tour, 'Ephemeral Gaze,' starting at the Incheon Inspire Arena and covering 37 shows across 20 countries, including Asia, the US, and Europe.

After leaving SM Entertainment, Taemin briefly joined Big Planet Made Entertainment before moving to Galaxy Corporation. He is expected to participate in various global projects that combine entertainment with AI and robotics.

Taemin is set to make history as the first Korean solo male artist to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest music festivals in the US, on April 11 and 18 in Indio, California.
