Joo Ji-hoon and Ha Ji-won Star as a Married Couple in New Drama 'Climax'
Actor Joo Ji-hoon teams up with Ha Ji-won as a married couple in the upcoming drama 'Climax'.

On the 10th, a press conference for the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Climax' was held at The Saint in D-Cube City, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Joo Ji-hoon, Ha Ji-won, Nana, Oh Jung-se, and director Lee Ji-won.

'Climax' is a drama that depicts the intense survival story of prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, who dives into the cartel of power to reach the top position in South Korea, and those surrounding him.

Joo Ji-hoon takes on the role of Bang Tae-seop, a prosecutor at the center of power. Describing his character, Joo Ji-hoon said, "He is a person who struggles without connections, networks, or family background and gets entangled in various incidents." He added, "At some point, he decides to climb up and develops ambitions, facing numerous hardships along the way."

When asked why he chose this project, Joo Ji-hoon replied, "The script was very simple." He explained, "The various episodes were easy to understand and read well. I liked how 'Climax' expresses the desires we don't usually voice out loud in a refreshing way."

In the drama, Joo Ji-hoon plays a married couple with Ha Ji-won, who portrays Choo Sang-ah. Regarding their on-screen chemistry, Joo Ji-hoon commented, "The romantic chemistry was really good. I enjoyed portraying a realistic marital relationship that balances various emotions. I am grateful for the help I received from veteran actress Ha Ji-won."

'Climax' is set to premiere on the 16th at 10 PM.
