The music world commemorates the first anniversary of singer Wheesung's passing.
March 10 marks one year since the late Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his residence in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Despite emergency measures, he was pronounced dead at the age of 43.
At the time of the incident, local police found no signs of forced entry or foul play, leading them to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service. An initial verbal opinion of 'unknown cause of death' was given, but the detailed results were not disclosed to the public to protect the late singer's dignity and prevent further distress to his family.
Wheesung debuted in the music industry in 2002 with his first studio album 'Like A Movie.' He had built his career as part of a dance team and music group during high school before stepping onto the stage as a solo artist. He continued to make his mark in the pop music scene with numerous R&B tracks, including his debut hit 'Can't We.'
