Voting for the March 'TENASIA ARTIST TOP TEN' has commenced. Singer Ha Sung-woon, who is set to reunite with the group Wanna One in April, and BTS, who are making a comeback on the 20th, are in a heated popularity contest.
Organized by TenAsia, the 'Artist Top Ten' is a monthly competition that selects the most buzzworthy domestic artists. Male and female K-pop idols, as well as artists from various genres (indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.), compete for the top spot in their respective categories.
The March voting period runs from midnight on the 9th until 11:59 PM on the 22nd.
The 'Artist Top Ten' global voting is divided into K-POP BOY BRAND, K-POP GIRL BRAND, and HOT GENRE BRAND categories.
In the K-POP BOY BRAND category, nominees include Ha Sung-woon, BTS, Kang Daniel, Ampersand One, 2AM, ATEEZ, EXO, Lee Junho, &TEAM, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, Super Junior, P1Harmony, TREASURE, TEMPEST, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ZEROBASEONE, Kim Jae-hwan, JD1, and ENHYPEN, totaling 20 teams.
Among these, Ha Sung-woon and BTS are receiving the most attention. Former Wanna One member Ha Sung-woon recently announced exciting news: Wanna One will reunite for the first time in seven years since their disbandment. They will reconnect with fans through the reality program 'Wanna One Go,' set to air on Mnet in April.
BTS is set to release their fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' on March 20 at 1 PM. According to their label, Big Hit Music, 'ARIRANG' surpassed 4 million pre-saves on global audio and music streaming platform Spotify as of the 7th. On the following day, March 21, at 8 PM, they will hold 'BTS The Comeback Live: ARIRANG' at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.
Voting for the 'Artist Top Ten' is conducted through the TenAsia voting service. Rankings are determined 100% by votes cast via the TenAsia application. After the monthly voting concludes, the top 10 artists are selected based on the highest combined fan vote scores. The voting page also features a daily check-in event that gifts one heart per day.
Nominees for the K-POP BOY BRAND and K-POP GIRL BRAND categories are selected from the top 20 artists on the monthly Melon Chart and Idol Champ Chart. Nominees for the HOT GENRE BRAND category are chosen from the top 20 artists on the monthly Melon Chart and Celeb Champ Chart.
Artists who make it into the 'Artist Top Ten' receive benefits such as a special feature article linked to their final ranking, promotion on the TenAsia website, and inclusion as a nominee for the following month's Artist Top Ten (limited to the first-place artist).
