Remembering Actor Jo Min-ki: 8 Years Since His Passing
It has been 8 years since the passing of actor Jo Min-ki.

Jo Min-ki passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 52.

He was found deceased in the basement parking lot of an officetel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. This occurred just three days before he was scheduled for police questioning, as he was one of the individuals accused in the 'Me Too' movement.

Jo Min-ki, who was an associate professor in the Department of Theater at Cheongju University, left behind a six-page letter expressing his apologies to his students and family. The case was closed with a verdict of 'no right to prosecute.'

Born in Seoul in 1965, Jo Min-ki studied acting at Cheongju University's Department of Theater and Film. He made his debut in the 1990 film 'Death Song' and continued to work in both dramas and films. His last drama was SBS's 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,' which aired in 2016.
