On the latest episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' actor Lee Min-woo shared a bizarre anecdote about being mistakenly listed online as married to fellow actress Kim Seo-hyung.
During the episode aired on the 8th, Lee Min-woo, along with Kim Seung-soo, visited actor Go Joo-won's house, where they candidly discussed misunderstandings and rumors surrounding their marital status.
At 51 years old, Lee Min-woo addressed the persistent rumors about his supposed secret marriage and divorce. He revealed, "The most common rumor I hear is that I've secretly gotten married or that I'm already married." He added, "Once, a junior colleague told me that a reporter was looking for my hidden son, which was quite shocking."
Lee Min-woo specifically mentioned an incident where a baseless marriage rumor with Kim Seo-hyung was officially recorded. He explained that a portal site had mistakenly listed him and Kim Seo-hyung as 'already married,' even specifying a wedding date of October 6th, which was quite shocking.
He further disclosed, "The portal site explained that it was a mistake made during data entry by an employee." He added, "Even the agency of the other actor was furious. I wondered if I should apologize for something that wasn't my fault."
Go Joo-won expressed his surprise, saying, "How can a scandal arise when there's no acquaintance at all?"
Kim Seung-soo also shared his experience, saying, "I appeared on a variety show with Park Se-ri, and I thought I was going to die from the rumors. AI-generated fake news on YouTube made it seem like I was already married and living a newlywed life, which people took seriously. I don't even know Park Se-ri's phone number. It even appeared on cable news, and I had to clarify the situation."
