Nam Bo-ra took to Instagram to reveal, "I had a glucose tolerance test yesterday, and I need to retake it. I guess I drank too much cola and Fanta in Spain... Starting today, I'm going on a diet... Vegetables, eggs, chicken breast, olives, olive oil, and the delicious balsamic vinegar my brother-in-law gifted me are my go-to foods now^^... hahaha."

Previously, Nam Bo-ra disclosed on her YouTube channel 'Nam Bo-ra's Life Theater' that she underwent a health check before marriage, which revealed abnormal cells with potential to develop into cancer, leading to an unexpected surgery. She shared, "I had surgery to remove the abnormal cells in March last year, and it took about two months to fully recover."
Nam Bo-ra, the eldest of 13 siblings, gained attention even before her entertainment debut. She appeared on shows like 'Human Theater' and 'Chorus of Angels,' where she touched viewers by caring for her younger siblings.
Nam Bo-ra has built her filmography with roles in dramas such as 'Glory Jane,' 'Moon Embracing the Sun,' 'Hyo-shim's Independent Life,' and films like 'New Year Blues' and 'My Brilliant Revenge.'
In May last year, Nam Bo-ra married a youth counselor she met during volunteer work in 2019. The couple announced her pregnancy last December and are expecting a son in June.
