Korean celebrity Jang Young-ran has launched a new skincare brand after years of preparation. Her YouTube producer expressed concerns that people might misunderstand her intentions as being overly money-driven.

Recently, on her YouTube channel 'A-Class Jang Young-ran,' a video titled 'Jang Young-ran's Shocking Secret Revealed After 2 Years (Must Watch Until the End)' was released.

Jang Young-ran met with her producer over drinks, reminiscing about their fan meeting celebrating 500,000 subscribers. Reflecting on her appearance shortly after undergoing a cosmetic procedure, Jang commented, "I wasn't at my best because the swelling hadn't gone down yet." Her producer reassured her, saying, "You look great now. I can't even watch the old videos. You've truly become more beautiful," eliciting laughter.

Previously, Jang's channel-produced shampoo sold out 100,000 units in just three days. She shared, "My goal was simple: to offer good products at good prices through my consulting and negotiation skills. The overwhelming response was indescribable. It made me feel recognized, sparking a competitive spirit in me."

Jang continued, "I have a small wish. Women in their 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and even 90s want to feel beautiful. I receive many test products, sometimes over ten a day. After using so many over 3-4 years, I naturally learned about cosmetics and gained confidence. I thought, why not create the cosmetics I want and offer them to my subscribers as a gift? That's why I'm launching a cosmetics brand."

Her producer expressed concerns, saying, "I think the shampoo launch was successful, but there might be reactions like, 'Oh, now she's moving into cosmetics too, just for money.' But I know you're sincere about skincare."

When asked what she created, Jang replied, "A face mask." She added, "I invented it like Einstein. I've been testing it for years," revealing part of her two-year product development journey.

Jang has priced her face masks lower than others on the market. She explained, "I want to age gracefully and beautifully with my subscribers, but I can't set a high price. I want to offer it as a gift."

Jang Young-ran married traditional Korean medicine doctor Han Chang in 2009, and they have a daughter and a son. Han Chang opened a 400-pyeong Korean medicine hospital in Seoul's Mapo District in 2021, which has since closed.
