On the latest episode of KBS2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang,' which aired last night at 8:30 PM, former Wonder Girls member Sunye invited her close friends, Yubin and former After School member Kahi, to her home for a homemade meal.
Sunye showcased her culinary skills, honed over a decade of living in Canada, by preparing a feast. Yubin praised Sunye's remarkable sense of responsibility, which she had shown since their school days, creating a warm atmosphere. Kahi also admired Sunye's cooking prowess, celebrating the unique bond between the three, who had no prior connections during their active years.
As the meal progressed, Kahi led the conversation into past anecdotes from their careers. She asked if the Wonder Girls ever sneaked out to party, but Yubin and Sunye revealed they never strayed from the guidance of their agency's head, Park Jin-young, who taught them about healthy club culture, showcasing their model behavior.
Kahi, however, shared that in After School, it was common to have phones confiscated for secret use, and incidents of being caught dating or clubbing were frequent, shocking everyone present. The studio guests joked that After School lived up to their name by being active after school hours.
The conversation then shifted to the intense childbirth experiences of Kahi and Sunye. Sunye revealed that she only gained 9kg during her pregnancy due to severe morning sickness and delivered all three of her daughters at home in Canada with the help of a midwife, astonishing everyone.
In contrast, Kahi shared that she gained 18kg during her pregnancy and was shocked by her post-birth belly. She cut out carbs and exercised intensely for six months, regaining her pre-pregnancy figure in just three months. Yubin expressed fear at Sunye's natural childbirth story but laughed at Kahi's teasing compliment that she seemed destined to be a good mother even before marriage, showcasing their strong friendship.
