Chef Choi Kang-rok, who won 300 million KRW on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef', is set to unveil a new culinary journey with 'Sikdeokhu'.
Airing on the TEO YouTube channel, 'Sikdeokhu' (directed by Chae Song-yi) follows Chef Choi as he delves deep into Japanese ingredients with the passion of a true 'foodie'. The latter part of the series, set against the backdrop of Kyoto and Kobe, showcases Chef Choi's unique charm and quirky personality, while offering an in-depth exploration of culinary ingredients that captivates viewers.
In the upcoming episode 6, airing tonight at 8 PM, 'Sikdeokhu' will focus on the theme of 'vegetables' in Kyoto. Following episodes that highlighted Kyoto's white miso and Kobe's beef, this episode promises another exciting exploration of new ingredients. With rave reviews such as "content with a unique comfort" and "I've been waiting for this", anticipation is high for the stories to come.
'Sikdeokhu' is also set to release limited edition 'Mini Book Keyring' merchandise. The keyring, which reimagines key points from the series, will be sold in limited quantities and features a charm of Kang-rok with a sardine.
The 'Sikdeokhu' merchandise will be available starting Saturday, March 7, through the fashion and lifestyle platform 29CM Limited Order. Fans can also look forward to a map sharing the spots visited in the series, along with film camera photos taken by Chef Choi himself, sure to entice collectors.
