Director Jang Hang-jun of the blockbuster hit 'The Man Living with the King' will host a coffee truck event on the 12th at 12 PM.
Set in 1457 Cheongnyeongpo, 'The Man Living with the King' tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily exiles himself for the village's revival and a young dethroned king in exile. As the film continues its successful box office run, the coffee truck event is a gesture of gratitude to the audience. Previously, Director Jang had promised to change his name, undergo plastic surgery, or naturalize as a citizen if the film hit ten million viewers, but he has since revised this pledge to a coffee truck event.
The coffee truck event will take place at the Seoul Newspaper Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 12th at 12 PM. Director Jang Hang-jun will personally attend the event to serve drinks and express his heartfelt thanks. Known for his witty banter, Director Jang will also engage in a special interaction with the audience, adding to the excitement of 'The Man Living with the King,' which has captivated the March box office.
Having surpassed 9.59 million viewers, 'The Man Living with the King' is currently showing in theaters.
