Netflix's dating show 'Single's Inferno 5' has caught attention as cast member Lee Sung-hoon gifted a pair of luxury sunglasses to fellow contestant Kim Go-eun.

On October 3rd, Kim Go-eun's YouTube channel 'goeun' released a video titled 'First Time in New York | Fashion Week, Shopping, and Dining Adventures.' In the video, Go-eun meets Sung-hoon in New York City.

Sung-hoon arrived in a luxury sports car to pick up Go-eun. Upon her entering the car, he presented her with designer sunglasses from brand C. Grateful for the gift, Go-eun responded, "Thank you, I'll use them well," while Sung-hoon expressed his satisfaction. The duo then enjoyed a drive through New York's Two Bridges.

The video sparked online reactions such as "Picking her up in a sports car is impressive," "Sung-hoon's class is evident with the expensive sunglasses," and "Definitely a golden spoon. Forget Lee Gun, go for Sung-hoon."

Previously, on September 17th, Lee Sung-hoon shared a mirror selfie with Kim Go-eun on his personal social media, captioned "In New York with Go-eun." He added, "Sorry, Lee Gun," referencing the on-screen chemistry between Kim Go-eun and another male contestant, Jo Lee-gun, which had garnered viewer interest.

Meanwhile, during the show, Kim Go-eun received support from viewers for her memorable pool scene with Jo Lee-gun but ultimately chose Woo Sung-min as her final partner. Lee Sung-hoon, on the other hand, ended up as a couple with Kim Min-ji, alongside the show's standout Choi Min-ah-soo.
