Baekhyun, a contestant on the Korean dating reality show 'Transit Love 4', recently revealed that he temporarily left Korea due to the chilly reception from viewers following the show's airing.

On October 3rd, a video titled 'Baekhyun Left Korea Upset After Transit Love Aired' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'kiu 기우쌤'. In the video, Baekhyun shared his thoughts on appearing in 'Transit Love 4' while getting styled by hair stylist and YouTuber Kiu (real name Lee Sung-kyu).

Kiu mentioned a particularly emotional scene from the show, asking Baekhyun, "What made you so sad?" Baekhyun responded, "You have to be in that space to understand. You can't engage in any outside activities and have to focus solely on the internal situation. It feels like the only people left in the world are those in the show, and experiencing 'Transit Love' for the first time was emotionally confusing."

Baekhyun also shared that his friends' reactions after the show aired were surprising. When asked if he watched the show with friends, he humorously replied, "I watched it alone. I couldn't watch it with friends." He added, "While other contestants received supportive messages like 'You were on that show? I'll watch it! Cheering for you!', I only got 'Are you okay?'"

Baekhyun humorously explained, "That's why I immediately packed a suitcase and left for the U.S. The overly warm words from the public made me board a plane, so I went to a warm country." When Kiu asked if the reactions changed from the beginning to the end of the show, Baekhyun confirmed, "Yes, that's why I came back to Korea right away," eliciting laughter.

Previously, Baekhyun and his ex-girlfriend Park Hyun-ji ended their two-year relationship due to Baekhyun's leg injury during military service. Early in the show, Baekhyun was caught between reuniting and starting anew, creating buzz. Another ex, Shin Seung-yong, joined the show as a new contestant, adding complexity to the love triangle and capturing viewers' attention.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun debuted in the 2024 short drama 'Dear X'. After gaining recognition as a scene-stealer on 'Transit Love 4', he continues to actively work as an actor and influencer.
