TV personality Lee Sang-min has revealed that he changed the date on which he celebrates his birthday.
On the 10th episode of 'Ghost Story Note 2,' airing at 11:40 PM on the 4th, the story of a young girl who dreaded her birthday will be featured.
The girl, who wished for a quiet birthday due to a series of unfortunate events that always seemed to occur, reluctantly went to a friend's house after being urgently called. There, she was surprised with a birthday cake, but the candles kept going out on their own. She eventually gave up trying to blow out the candles and ended the party.
That night, while sleeping over at her friend's house, she experienced sleep paralysis but considered it bearable compared to previous birthdays. However, she slipped in a dry bathroom and injured her tailbone, requiring a hospital stay.
She confided in her friend about her birthday woes and consulted a shaman, who suggested celebrating her lunar birthday instead. Since then, she has had peaceful birthdays.
Lee Sang-min commented, “There must be many people who experience such things on their birthdays,” and shared that he switched from celebrating his lunar birthday to his solar birthday about ten years ago. He noted the coincidence with his return to broadcasting.
The shaman also shared a personal story, saying, “I used to have bad things happen on my birthday and sought advice from my spiritual mother. Switching to a lunar birthday made things better.”
Lee Sang-min added that he experienced strange occurrences on his birthdays as a child and shared insights into the mystical significance of birthdays, along with recommended foods to eat.
The episode will also cover the shaman's views on the astrological impact of cesarean versus natural birth, how to identify a cold burial site, and the reality of harmful astrological matches. 'Ghost Story Note 2' episode 10 will air on KBS Joy channel at 11:40 PM on the 4th.
