On October 2nd, which would have been Lee's birthday, Kim Jin-kyung shared a poignant video on her social media with the caption, "The rain makes me feel melancholic." The video featured Lee Sun-kyun's gravestone, engraved with the words "Missing everything today, love you." A bottle of soju and a glass placed on the gravestone conveyed the deep sense of longing for the late actor.

Kim Jin-kyung's visit to the gravesite on a rainy day, coinciding with Lee's birthday, touched the hearts of many. The brief post and video hinted at the enduring friendship between the two.

The post sparked a wave of online tributes, with netizens expressing their condolences and memories. Comments included, "Watching 'My Mister' reruns makes me miss him more," "May he rest in peace," "His presence in his works remains vivid," and "He will be remembered as a great actor."

Lee Sun-kyun passed away on December 27, 2023. Prior to his death, he was under investigation for alleged drug use, which he consistently denied. His sudden passing shocked both the entertainment industry and the public.

Tributes to Lee continue, with his name recently appearing in the end credits of director Jang Hang-jun's film 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' which has surpassed 9 million viewers. A community user shared a photo of the credits, which included the message, "The production team would like to specially thank the following individuals," listing Lee Sun-kyun's name.

While it has not been officially confirmed if the name refers to the late actor, it is speculated that director Jang Hang-jun, known for his close friendship with Lee, included it as a tribute.
