BTS Unveils Tracklist for Upcoming 5th Album 'ARIRANG'

BTS has revealed the track titles for their highly anticipated 5th studio album, 'ARIRANG'.

On November 4th, BTS shared the tracklist image for 'ARIRANG' on their official social media accounts. The image features the album's logo and a graphic of red tape. The album includes a total of 14 tracks, featuring the title track 'SWIM', along with 'Body to Body', 'Hooligan', 'Aliens', 'FYA', '2.0', 'No. 29', 'Merry Go Round', 'NORMAL', 'Like Animals', 'they don't know 'bout us', 'One More Night', 'Please', and 'Into the Sun'.

This album delves into BTS's unique identity and the emotions accumulated throughout their career. The main track 'SWIM' is categorized as an upbeat alternative pop song, conveying a message of perseverance in the waves of life. It emphasizes facing challenges at one's own pace, portraying a love for life. RM participated in the overall lyric writing, highlighting the song's intended meaning.

The opening track 'Body to Body' carries a message of enjoying the moment with concert audiences. 'Hooligan' reflects on BTS's journey of expanding their reach globally. 'Aliens' expresses their ambition towards the world, while 'FYA' captures the excitement of their return. '2.0' signifies a new chapter for the seven members.

The sixth track 'No. 29' and 'Merry Go Round', placed after the title track, depict enduring the repetitive cycles of life. 'NORMAL' explores the emotional lines that intersect on and off stage. 'Like Animals' is a pledge to live fiercely, and 'they don't know 'bout us' asserts, "We are just us." 'One More Night' describes the desire to linger in overwhelming moments. 'Please' conveys a sincere promise to stay together in any situation. 'Into the Sun' concludes the album with a confession of running towards you.

Last summer, BTS held a songwriting session in Los Angeles, USA, to work on the album. The process involved Grammy Award-winning producers Diplo, Ryan Tedder, and El Guincho, enhancing the album's quality.

BTS's 'ARIRANG' will be officially released on March 20th at 1 PM. The following day, on the 21st, they will hold a 'BTS The Comeback Live: ARIRANG' performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The live performance will be streamed in real-time via the online video service Netflix.
