Jeong-sook, a participant from the 28th season of 'I Am Solo', shared the news on her YouTube channel 'Jeong-sang Ppyu' with a video titled 'No Turning Back on Marriage Now!!'.
In the video, Jeong-sook revealed that she and Sang-cheol successfully registered their marriage and celebrated with a romantic dinner date. The couple had previously postponed their registration due to unexpected circumstances, such as losing personal items, but they have now completed all the paperwork to officially start their life together. Sang-cheol expressed his feelings about becoming a legal husband, stating, "The responsibility feels so heavy that I can't even show when I'm struggling," showcasing his serious attitude as a family man.
During dinner, the couple engaged in a deep and realistic conversation about married life, reaffirming their strong affection for each other. Jeong-sook expressed her excitement about her first marriage registration, emphasizing that their relationship is now irreversible. Sang-cheol added humorously that administrative records, like real estate deeds, last a lifetime, and they must live well together.
Jeong-sook shared her mature perspective on marriage, saying, "Even if there are moments when you dislike each other, overcoming them will bring back the good days." Sang-cheol agreed, quoting producer Nam Kyu-hong, "Even those who loved passionately will face conflicts," showing his deep understanding of Jeong-sook's words.
Jeong-sook, currently eight months pregnant, is receiving an outpouring of support. Sang-cheol expressed concern and affection for his wife, who is balancing her demanding work as an accountant with her pregnancy, moving between her study and dining table.
The couple is eagerly awaiting the birth of their child, nicknamed 'Nasol-i', expected in May. Since their wedding in December, they have been sharing their journey as expectant parents on YouTube and social media, receiving congratulations from many.
Jeong-sook and Sang-cheol, who appeared on SBS Plus and ENA's 'I Am SOLO', a hyper-realistic dating show for singles seeking marriage, are celebrated as a successful couple who found love after the show ended.
