K-Pop Band 2Z to Headline 'Asia New Beat' Korea Finals with Electrifying Performance
The five-member K-pop band 2Z is set to headline the Korea finals of 'Asia New Beat,' a prominent platform for indie musicians across Asia.

2Z, consisting of members Beomjun, Nua, Hojin, Jeonghyun, and Joonon, will perform at the 'Asia New Beat' Korea finals on November 4th at the Sohyang Art Hall, located at Dongseo University's Jurye Campus in Busan.

This special performance aims to inspire aspiring indie musicians looking to break into the Asian market and to showcase the vibrant energy of Korea's indie scene to a global audience. Known for their explosive live performances and dynamic stage presence, 2Z is expected to set the finals ablaze. As a 'first mover' in the global market, 2Z is anticipated to provide more than just congratulations to the finalists, offering them substantial motivation.

The Korea finals are part of a larger Asian competition involving four countries: Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. The winners and runners-up from Korea will advance to the 'Asia Finals' and 'Go on Ground Music Festival' at JJ Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 21st.

The event, organized by Starnest Group, utilizes a blockchain-based Web 3.0 platform. This innovative model offers musicians tiered cash prizes and token rewards, while fans receive goods and benefits for participating in voting, fostering a shared success between artists and fans.

A representative from Starnest stated, "It is significant that 2Z, who are building a successful career in the global market, will perform at the Korea finals. Their passionate performance will synergize with the event's goal of revitalizing the Asian music ecosystem."

Recently, 2Z released a new digital single '6 (SIX)' and made a comeback with the title track 'Dizzy.' They are also set to kick off their 2026 'GloryDayz' European tour at the end of March.
