In her letter, Park Bom mentioned Adderall, a psychotropic medication, clarifying, "This is not a drug. I have ADD and suffer from attention deficit disorder." She further claimed, "Sandara Park was caught with drugs, and to cover it up, they made me out to be a drug addict."

She added, "At the time, there was no law or medication like Adderall in the country, but strangely, a law was established after my case." Park Bom also urged, "Lastly, I ask YG, Yang Hyun-suk, Teddy, and CL not to report to the authorities that I used more drugs than prescribed over the past 30 years."

Previously, on October 22, 2025, Park Bom stirred controversy by posting a revealing message targeting Yang Hyun-suk. She disclosed a lawsuit, claiming she had not received her rightful earnings from her time with 2NE1. The lawsuit named YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun-suk as the defendant, citing "fraud and embezzlement."

Regarding the lawsuit, she stated, "The defendant has not paid the earnings that should have been rightfully given to me for a long time. I demand a thorough investigation and legal action." She continued, "The defendant did not fairly compensate me for the profits from music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, songwriting, and composing."

She estimated the amount to be approximately 64272e trillion won, asserting that this is the income she rightfully deserves. Despite this, YG Entertainment has not provided any settlement details, nor have they made a single legitimate payment to her. Consequently, she has suffered significant financial and emotional damage, which she claims constitutes clear fraud and embezzlement.

In response, D-Nation Entertainment released an official statement on October 23, 2025, stating, "The settlement related to Park Bom's activities with 2NE1 has already been completed, and there is no record of the lawsuit being filed." They added, "Park Bom has halted all activities to focus on treatment and recovery, and we are doing our utmost to support her health."

They further explained, "Currently, Park Bom is in a very unstable emotional state, making communication difficult. She urgently needs treatment and rest for recovery. The spread of her social media posts has led to misinterpretations and unnecessary misunderstandings, affecting not only Park Bom but also her family and acquaintances."

They concluded, "We are committed to helping the artist recover her health as soon as possible so she can greet her fans in a better state. We ask for your deep understanding and warm support."

Park Bom debuted as a member of 2NE1 under YG Entertainment in 2009. After the group's disbandment in 2016, she left the agency and continued her solo career with D-Nation Entertainment. Following 2NE1's reunion last year, she collaborated with YG Entertainment for an Asia tour but has since paused all activities due to health issues as of August.
