Singer WOODZ Shares Story of Yoo Jae-suk's Apology After 'Pinggye-go' Awards
Singer WOODZ recently shared an anecdote about receiving an apology from broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk after the 'Pinggye-go' awards ceremony.

On October 2nd, the YouTube channel 'Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk' uploaded a video titled 'I Have Stage Fright, But Talked for 2 Hours: WOODZ's Recovery EP.17 Come Over Here.' In the video, WOODZ appeared and engaged in various conversations with Eunhyuk.

During the discussion, Eunhyuk mentioned WOODZ's song 'Drowning.' Previously, WOODZ gained explosive popularity after performing 'Drowning' during the KBS2 'Immortal Songs' Armed Forces Day special while serving in the military. WOODZ commented, "When I created this song, I had one plan in mind: I hoped it would be sung a lot in karaoke."

Eunhyuk also brought up WOODZ's 'Drowning' performance at the 'Pinggye-go' awards held last December. He remarked, "You performed live in the morning, and it was a complete performance. I think it was the best live clip I've heard from you."

WOODZ responded, "Before my turn, senior singer Hwasa performed. I thought they might ask me to sing too, so I was mentally prepared. When I see such things, I don't feel burdened; instead, I want to do even better," he said with a smile.

Yoo Jae-suk, who was the MC of the awards, apologized to WOODZ. WOODZ recalled, "Senior Yoo Jae-suk apologized afterward, saying he hadn't planned to ask me to sing."

Eunhyuk asked, "Didn't you just sing with a karaoke machine?" WOODZ replied, "(That's right) When the singing doesn't go well, I rely on momentum. As a professional, you have to be able to handle any situation. I've developed my own vocal technique to match my condition."
