On the October 28th episode of SBS's 'From Today, I'm Human' (directed by Kim Jung-kwon, written by Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young), the 12th episode depicted Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon) and Kang Si-yeol (played by Rowoon) overcoming their tragic fate to reunite.
In this episode, Eun-ho faced a critical decision to save Kang Si-yeol, who was gravely injured after taking a bullet meant for her. She had to choose between continuing life as a human or disappearing forever. Ultimately, Eun-ho asked Hyun Woo-seok (played by Jang Dong-joo) to stab her with a mystical sword that could alter fate. She chose to vanish for the sake of her loved one, leaving behind a wish for Kang Si-yeol to forget her and find happiness, along with a confession of love as she disappeared.
Thanks to Eun-ho's sacrifice, Kang Si-yeol survived and returned to fame as a world-renowned soccer player. However, even after ten years, he couldn't shake off his longing for Eun-ho.
Hyun Woo-seok expressed his sorrow, urging Kang Si-yeol to move on, but Kang Si-yeol remained convinced that Eun-ho was still watching over him. He held onto the rooftop room filled with memories. In a moment of crisis, as he nearly fell from the rooftop, Eun-ho appeared like a vision, saving him. The once-vanished Eun-ho returned in her gumiho form, standing before Kang Si-yeol.
Eun-ho, who returned miraculously, suggested that Kang Si-yeol's earnest feelings might have brought her back from the brink of the afterlife. However, she remained cautious, acknowledging that the love between a gumiho and a human is ultimately doomed. Kang Si-yeol, however, insisted that his love, which began ten years ago, was far from over, and even if a painful farewell awaited them, the moments together would not be in vain.
Ultimately, the two promised to defy fate and stay by each other's side, marking the beginning of a new romance. The poignant reunion of a gumiho who fell in love with a human and the man who couldn't forget her left a lasting impression on viewers, bringing the series to a grand conclusion.
