Comedian Kim Shin-young, who famously lost 44kg, recently admitted to experiencing weight gain on the latest episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros'.

The episode, aired on the 28th, featured a special titled 'Living by Eating' with guests including comedian Kim Shin-young, singer Tei, creator Song Ha-bin, and Hibab.

Kim Shin-young drew attention with her noticeable weight gain since her last appearance in December 2023. Despite maintaining her weight loss for over a decade, she confessed to experiencing a 'yo-yo' effect.

Discussing her eating habits, Kim Shin-young revealed, "In 2003, I once ate 64 servings of pork belly with a friend." Kang Ho-dong humorously noted, "You don't plan to eat 64 servings; it's just a good day," to which Kim Shin-young agreed, bringing laughter.

After quitting alcohol, Kim Shin-young had successfully lost weight, stating, "I still don't drink," but expressed uncertainty about the cause of her weight gain, saying, "I don't know why it happened." She added, "They say if you maintain weight loss for 10 years, the yo-yo effect won't happen. That's not true; it comes back right away."

Seo Jang-hoon inquired if there was a change in her mindset, but Kim Shin-young replied, "Nothing changed," admitting, "I just thought, 'Life is short,' and indulged a little."

Kim Shin-young confessed, "I ate a whole chocolate cake, not just a slice," and added, "I also ate three packs of ramen, two packs of spicy noodles, and two packs of black bean noodles. My old appetite is still there," surprising everyone.

Currently venturing on her own, Kim Shin-young shared, "I started an IP company. I want to direct, produce, and create. It's a shorts drama company, and we're starting soon. I played four roles in 'Ppaji Oppa'," raising anticipation.
