Former 4Minute Star Heo Ga-yoon Shares Her Peaceful Life in Bali

Former 4Minute member Heo Ga-yoon has opened up about her life in Bali, where she has been residing for the past three years.

Heo appeared on the October 25th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' to share her recent experiences. During the show, she discussed the reasons behind her move to Bali.

Heo explained, "I came here thinking 'let's just come and relax' after going through a series of tough times, and I found peace." Following the death of her brother in 2020 due to a chronic illness, she felt a deep sense of emptiness and decided to leave her life in Korea behind to live without regrets. Host Yoo Jae-suk noted her changed demeanor, commenting, "Your face is glowing, and you seem healthy and happy."

Heo also addressed misconceptions about her life in Bali. She clarified, "Many people misunderstand, but I spend less than 10,000 won a day," adding, "When I go to local restaurants with friends, it costs around 2,000 to 3,000 won." She shared that everything feels new in Bali, making time fly by, and expressed her contentment with her relaxed lifestyle.

Heo cautiously opened up about her trainee days as well. She reflected, "I worked incredibly hard and endured things I didn't have to." She also revealed, "I was once involved in a school violence incident as a victim, and I chose to just take the hits, asking them not to hit my face." She confessed that at the time, becoming a singer was more important than fear, and she was worried about rumors spreading if the story changed later.
