Korean actress Ko So-young recently opened up about her life as a homemaker over the past decade, shedding tears in a heartfelt moment.
On the 27th, a video titled "Meeting with Teacher Ko Chun-ja & Teacher Lee Da-young for the New Year!" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Ko So-young.'
In the video, Ko So-young visits the shrine of Ko Chun-ja, a shaman with 40 years of experience, who is known as the real-life model for Kim Go-eun's character in the movie 'The Priests.'
During the visit, the shaman candidly told Ko So-young, "You've lived for your children, but you feel empty as a person. To others, your life may seem glamorous, but it's like a gilded gingerbread."
The shaman also checked Ko So-young's pulse and warned, "You've buried your destiny, and it's causing illness inside you. If you continue like this, you'll get sick."
The shaman added, "Even if you face criticism and finger-pointing, your destiny is to stand in front of others again."
Ko So-young wiped her tears with a tissue handed to her by the shaman. The shaman advised, "You might think about giving it all up and living as just a mother, but that's not your destiny."
While discussing Ko So-young's fortune for 2026, the shaman revealed, "A great fortune will come in 2026. Whether it's movies or dramas, start now. You are not just a housewife. Don't live in that misconception."
