On the 26th, Shin Ji-hyo shared two photos on her Instagram story with the caption, "Quickly snapped while no one was around..!"
The photos reveal Shin Ji-hyo attending the entrance ceremony at Seoul National University. Her enrollment is particularly special as the university celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
Shin Ji-hyo, who majored in ballet at Sunhwa Arts High School, previously made headlines when she was accepted into both Seoul National University and the Korea National University of Arts. She ultimately chose to attend the College of Education at Seoul National University, majoring in Physical Education. This decision makes her an alumna of the same college as her mother, Sun Hye-yoon PD, who graduated from the German Education Department at Seoul National University.
The entrance ceremony also saw the attendance of Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, who was there to celebrate her son, Lim Dong-hyun's, admission. Lim was accepted into the Economics Department through the 2026 early admission process. Having completed his primary, middle, and high school education in South Korea, he now joins the ranks of Seoul National University alumni, sharing this distinction with his uncle, Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics.
Meanwhile, Shin Dong-yup married Sun Hye-yoon PD in 2006, and they have two children, daughter Shin Ji-hyo and son Shin Ki-wan.
