On Chef Ahn Sung-jae's YouTube channel, 'Chef Ahn Sung-jae,' a video titled 'Baked Feta Cheese Pasta Challenge: A Recipe That Will Make You Crave Pasta' was uploaded.
In the video, Jang Wonyoung, who recently returned with IVE's second full album 'Revive Plus,' made a special appearance alongside Chef Ahn.
Jang Wonyoung mentioned a past incident where Chef Ahn attempted to make 'Dubai Chewy Cookies' for his daughter, Siyoung, but ended up creating a hard snack, humorously dubbed 'Dudakgang.' As a fan of the channel, Jang Wonyoung commented, "Even in fine dining, you sometimes get creative dishes that look nothing like their names," showing her appreciation for the unexpected result.
She further expressed, "I believe the chef didn't make it that way because he didn't know the original form, but rather reinterpreted it in his own style," showcasing her unique perspective and touching Chef Ahn.
Chef Ahn, impressed by Jang Wonyoung's thoughtful attitude, revealed that his daughter Siyoung is a big fan of IVE. Due to flight cancellations caused by heavy snow in Jeju, Siyoung couldn't attend, but Jang Wonyoung surprised her with a special gift, displaying her considerate nature.
Jang Wonyoung said, "I wanted to comfort the child who might have been upset by her dad's cooking mishap," gifting cute character-shaped cookies and a perfume from her favorite brand. She also brought a stylish apron for Chef Ahn, creating a warm atmosphere, and shared her past experiences with pasta cooking.
To help Chef Ahn, who is unfamiliar with idol activities, Jang Wonyoung explained the comeback system and the appeal of a full album, showcasing her smooth hosting skills.
Inspired by Jang Wonyoung's warm encouragement, Chef Ahn announced that he would unveil a revised version of the cookies with a new name next week, heightening viewers' anticipation.
