Yoon Jae-chan, who first gained recognition on 'Produce 101 Season 2' in 2017, has since appeared in dramas such as 'Shining Watermelon', 'Intimate Betrayal', and 'Try: We Become Miracles'. 'Salmoji' marks his big-screen debut. He plays Seong-bin, the youngest PD on the crew, who is bright and enthusiastic. As strange events unfold at Salmoji, Seong-bin's survival instincts kick in, and he quickly devises a plan to escape with his girlfriend, Se-jeong. Yoon stated, "The most important thing was not to act scared, but to genuinely feel the fear," adding anticipation for his portrayal of escalating terror.

Jang Da-ah, who has proven her acting skills in dramas like 'Pyramid Game' and 'My Precious Star', also makes her film debut with 'Salmoji'. As the older sister of Jang Won-young, Jang Da-ah plays Se-jeong, another crew member and Seong-bin's girlfriend, who runs a horror channel. Initially excited to capture high-view content at Salmoji, she soon witnesses unbelievable sights and plans an escape with Seong-bin. Jang described her character as showing "a range of emotions from fearless confidence at the start to a gradient of emotions towards the end," promising to leave a strong impression with her deepened performance.

The released stills of Seong-bin and Se-jeong convey the chilling horror they experience at Salmoji. Seong-bin's tense expression as he shines a flashlight into the unknown raises questions about what awaits at the end of his gaze. Meanwhile, Se-jeong's innocent demeanor while capturing Salmoji's scenery contrasts with her fear-stricken face when facing Seong-bin in the car, sparking curiosity about the events leading to such a drastic change.

With rising stars Yoon Jae-chan and Jang Da-ah, 'Salmoji' promises an inexplicable, irresistible, and inescapable horror experience, set to hit theaters on April 8, 2026.
