Jay Park Remembers Late Friend and Photographer, Shares School Memories

Singer and producer Jay Park recently opened up about his school days with his late friend, Taiwanese photographer Po Valor. On October 27, Jay Park's YouTube channel 'Jay Park TV' released a video titled 'Jay Park's Favorite Spicy Chicken Stew Even During Dieting.' In the video, Jay Park is seen enjoying a meal while chatting with the production team.

In the video, Jay Park appeared wearing a t-shirt with a photo of his friend, who passed away a month ago, drawing attention. When asked by the production team if he knew his friend since high school, Jay Park replied, "I knew Po since middle school. We both loved basketball, which brought us closer." He added, "We were partners in skipping classes, often going to dance or grabbing fast food instead of attending lessons."

Jay Park also shared, "My mother was really upset when she saw my grades." When asked about his lowest grade, he hesitated before humorously revealing, "Out of a 4.0 scale, Po got a 0.8 and I got a 1.2," bringing laughter.

Earlier in January, Jay Park had shared the news of his friend's passing on his social media, expressing his sorrow. He wrote, "When I heard the news, my heart sank. I still don't know how to process this, and it doesn't feel real. I wish I could have met or talked to you one last time, but I guess that's life," along with a photo of them together. The two were known for their close friendship since middle school.

Following the video's release, fans left comments such as "I was worried about him because of his friend, but I'm glad he's doing okay," "Rest in peace," and "How can grades be as low as eyesight?" Many found his stories of skipping classes amusing.
